The need for a shared perspective and an agile product development process are the perfect backdrop for this conference, as it will provide an excellent playing field for collaborative activities amongst medical and manufacturing technologists to further the development of the Design and PROcesses for MEdical Devices. The main goal of the conference is to provide a scenario for continued interaction between professionals and experts from the areas relevant to medical device development: doctors and engineers.

The 1st International Conference on Design and PROcesses for MEdical Devices (PROMED), sponsored by CIRP, College International pour la Recherche en Productique, will be held at Lago di Garda.
